“you have killed me”
that’s the morrissey song peg and i are listening to right now.
i’m in her kitchen. as usual, she’s being the hostess with the mostest. my cheeks are hot b/c of the pleasant chianti she busted out (lamole lamole chianti classico, trader joe’s). she made dinner for us – bulgogi beef. this woman is skilled at seasoning her meat.
she also made these most excellent fudgey brownies too. they’re just the way i like them…extra chewy.
we walked home today from work, down market, via 17th / stanyan. there’s this treacherous hill that conjures up great fear and dread in me. i feel better once i conquer it though. the rest of the journey is downhill, which is nice, especially when your eyes are treated to some charming-ass homes. there’s one for sale. i’d like to own it.
walking home as the sun is setting is awesome. i like looking into people’s homes…especially when they’re changing clothes. i kid.
anyway, peg’s herb garden is sprouting nicely.
we’re going to watch kubrick’s lolita now. peg netflix’d it for the heart-shaped glasses.
soon i’m going to do a recap of mother’s day, replete with classic mom quotes.
