anthony is going to be very cold at night

i was in the backyard this evening moving trashcans to the curb when a terrifying, ugly, LOUD-as-fuck noise bombed the immediate area around me.

i instinctively covered my head and cowered like a baby.

apparently, the wind slammed anthony’s window so hard that it shattered the glass. i swear i’m not being dramatic — these were lethal shards and slabs of glass that rained down into the backyard. i feel very lucky to walk away unmarred. it’s a fetal-sized miracle, really.

we spent some time sweeping up the insidious glass, broke the rest of the glass in the window with a hammer (this produced some chilling sounds), and swept some more. you should’ve seen the jagged, evil pattern that the impact left in the window’s glass. it was so damn frightening and sinister…the epitome of DANGER.

anthony’s pretty bummed b/c you know, windows can shield you from the elements. true to his sweet, laidback nature, he made a great joke. i talked trash about his wimpy window, and he said, “no…i LOVED that window!…loved it to pieces.”

HEY-O!!!

anyway, if anyone out there has any insulation ideas or tools, please share. we want to keep him warm.

in other news, i told my dad i didn’t want to spend more than $700 on a plane ticket to china for fall travel.

he totally laughed in my face.

Glad you’re unmard by the shards. Next time, keep your toneless singing down as you’re hanging the wash, so Anthony doesn’t have to slam the window to concentrate on his magnum opus. Or whatever he calls it.
