you’re finally legal now.

walked to tartine and waited in line patiently. when i took my first bite of the croque monsieur, which i had been craving quite desperately, it was simply divine. i love their pickled carrots.
i think i’m going to make my tartine pilgrimage a sunday custom now.
then i strolled valencia, made an impulse buy (which i am so not financially equipped to do) at therapy in my efforts to look more like a girl who actually wears feminine things, as opposed to a boy who only wears t-shirts and jeans.
got to the sf public library to catch a free screening of millennium actress, with gilles at the podium giving a nice intro. he’s great. the movie was fun, gorgeous, and sentimental.
after that, i walked to whole foods, spent way too much $crilla on groceries, and practically snapped my arms off lugging them to fillmore, where i breaked and enjoyed the jazz fest. fantastic people watching. loved seeing all the frat boys “feeling” the music and bobbing their heads, brewskies in both hands.
the day was topped off with a nice peaceful dinner.
a productive and satisfying beautiful day. in fact, it was an overall lovely weekend, with a swim at the pool, baking cookies for a good cause, and a fun time at lark and briana’s comics and cupcakes bakesale. seeing all those purdy crafty, colorful creations made me so envious of the contributors’ mad baking skillz. i need to spend more time in the kitchen.
here’s a pic of peg’s marbled cheesecake:
