It’s true
Something I’ve learned in very recent years, as I’ve witnessed big life changes amongst close lifelong friends: settling down doesn’t always mean you’re settling for less. It took me so long to realize this. I feel more relaxed, sad, and like an adult, now that I finally understand. Guess you could say I’m a late bloomer.

wow sis. that made me tear up. i sometimes feel the same, but then always revert back to the old conclusion that marriage = trapped. utterly. completely. ugh. Imagine if Mr. Dreamy ends up punching you in the face after about 1 year (post marriage) because you forgot to make the pasta sauce just right.
